Letter from National Moderator, MI Philippines

Dear Friends,

Through our consecration to the Immaculata in the MI ceremony, we become Mary’s instruments for the salvation of souls. In so doing, we enter the warfare God has established between Christ and Satan, between Mary and the antique serpent.

But we are not to be frightened, each and every one of us is only a small part of a great army that encircles the earth and that is supported by the heavenly Militia, the angels of heaven. And as many drops make an ocean, so our small ejaculatory prayers, when added to the 30,000 other MIs of the Traditional observance, a great force is placed at Mary’s disposal.

Let us do all we can to increase the numbers of the Knights of the MI so that this force of prayer grows into an irresistible ocean, a tide that the world and the devil cannot extinguish.

Then, by distributing the Miraculous medal, or by teaching the MI Primer catechism, or by any other good work we may be inspired to do, we translate this force of prayer into salutary action – not our action, but the action of Mary through Her small and insignificant instrument.

But even if our duties of state keep us very busy with the duties of life at large and don’t allow us to do an apostolate, by being Knights of Our Lady, we must remember that our every action is Hers, and She can use it for the salvation of souls! To keep this reality alive, say the MI prayer every day:

“O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us, who have recourse to thee, and for all those who do not have recourse to thee, especially the freemasons, and all those who are commended to Thee!”
